A vibrant force in the world of holistic surfing and mentorship. Roots running deep into the Ocean floor from the lands of South Africa, I have been moulded by the wild Indian and Atlantic Oceans offering me the experiences to become a true man of the water. Along my path I have moved from the competitive arena of professional surfing to embracing the soulful essence of the ocean, I’ve carved a unique path as a Professional Soul Surfer and Holistic Surf Coach. My journey has been enriched by working with elite surf coaches, including mindset mentors, sport-specific physical trainers, and technique specialists, and yoga teachers giving me an unique and unparalleled foundation in the art and science of surfing.
As a competitor, I made waves on the World Surf League Challenger Series, resulting 5th, 3 years in a row in the South African Surf Championship, and earned a career-high ranking of 33rd in the world at the International World Surfing Games. But my true passion lies beyond the competition—it’s in the technique, using the body, mind and breath to reach new levels, the healing power of the ocean and the transformative growth it inspires in others.
I’ve pioneered Ocean and Surf Therapy Programs that empower individuals to heal, connect deeply with the sea, and elevate their surfing experience. Watching surfers push boundaries, expand their skills, and cultivate a profound relationship with the ocean lights me up.
My journey has also led me to facilitate multiple three-month-long surf safaris along the breathtaking coastline of South Africa and into the raw, untamed waters of Mozambique. These expeditions have been transformative for both participants and myself, offering an immersive experience that combines adventure, connection, and self-discovery. I’ve also had the privilege of offering and hosting numerous Ocean and Surf Therapy Workshops throughout South Africa, creating safe spaces for individuals to reconnect with themselves and the healing energy of the ocean.
With over 15 years of expertise shaped by waves, winds, and the soulful rhythm of the ocean, I’m excited to bring all these facets of knowledge and life experience together to guide you on your own transformative surf journey.
